A Legislative Update with Our Legislators

Presented by the League of Women Voters and sponsored by the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce.
The public is encouraged to attend a "A Legislative Update with Our Legislators" co-sponsored by the Wheaton League of Women Voters and Wheaton Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, September 22. We will start the evening with a meet and greet over light refreshment at 6:30 PM in the Memorial Room of the Wheaton Park District Community Center, 1777 Blanchard Road, Wheaton.
At 7:00, we will begin a town hall style meeting.
Topics will likely include:
- redistricting
- the state budget woes
- issues facing the Illinois legislature in the upcoming veto session, such as
- pension reform
- freedom of information act.
