Adult Education Classes - Jesus' Final Words From the Cross

Event Description
This class provides a special Lenten opportunity to examine and reflect together on Christ's dying hours and his final words as seen and heard by those who stood near the cross. As a study guide we will use Adam Hamilton’s book, Final Words, along with a helpful accompanying DVD.
Although Christ’s final words from the cross may be very familiar to many of us, it is possible for us to approach and understand them in fresh ways as we move through the various experiences and challenges in our own lives.
The class will be led by Rev. Ronald Brushwyler in the Church Living Room and held at 10:00 a.m. on February 22 and on March 8 through March 22, 2015. We will have Adam Hamilton’s book, Final Words, available for purchase prior to the start of the class.
The adult education ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton invites members of the community to join them for the education hour, which is held between services from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. almost every Sunday. There will be no classes on Sunday, March 1. Classes are offered for children and adults.
