Alumni Recital: Will Liverman and Jonathan King

Event Description The Wheaton College Conservatory of Music presents an alumni recital featuring baritone Will Liverman. Accompanying Liverman is fellow 2010 Wheaton College alumnus and pianist Jonathan King. Praised by the New York Times as "mello-voiced and charismatic," Will Liverman is now in his third year performing at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, where he will be heard in "Capriccio, Porgy and Bess," and featured in "Magic Victrola." He recently received critical acclaim for his role as "Le Mari" in Poulenc's "Les Mamelles de Tiresias" with the Civic Orchestra. Liverman has also garnered competition prizes including first prize in the Chicago American Opera Society Competition, and grand prize in the Bel Canto Foundation Competition. Most recently, Liverman was selected as one of the winners for the prestigious Sullivan Award.
