Artist Series: Camerata Chicago with Cellist Joshua Roman

Event Description The Wheaton College Artist Series presents cellist Joshua Roman and chamber orchestra Camerata Chicago in concert. Formed in 2003, Camerata Chicago is now firmly established as one of the finest chamber orchestras on the world stage. The orchestra will perform under the direction of Drostan Hall. Nationally renowned cellist Joshua Roman returns to Wheaton after performing in the 2012 Artist Series program. In addition to earning a reputation as a skilled musician he is also recognized as an accomplished composer, curator, and programmer, particularly for his work as artistic director of Seattle Town Hall's Town Music series. For his ongoing creative initiatives on behalf of classical music, Roman was named a 2011 TED Fellow.


Event Location The concert takes place in Edman Memorial Chapel, located on the northeast corner of Washington and Franklin streets in Wheaton, IL 60187.
