Blessing of the Animals

 

First Pres invites the community and their beloved pets to a special outdoor service that will be held this Saturday morning, September 27, at 10:00 a.m. in the courtyard. This service, known as the Blessing of the Animals, honors the life and ministry of St. Francis, who saw nature and animals as God’s beloved creation. In this service, we will thank God for our pets, as participants bring their pets forward to meet one of the pastors. This is an especially meaningful service for children.



Event Location Church Courtyard, First Presbyterian Church, 715 N. Carlton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187. Please note that you and your pets go through the church building to reach the courtyard.
