Event Description
The topic of compensation comes up in all phases of job search, from networking to online applications to interviewing to the final offer. Job seekers need to understand how to communicate about compensation so they can better determine if an opportunity will meet their needs, effectively move ahead in the interview process and, ultimately, maximize the offer they will agree to. In this session, we will review the various steps of the application/ interview/ offer process and discuss tactics and language to use during the various types of "conversations" that occur during job search. The goal is to help enhance two-way understanding - what the employer has to offer and what your expectations and priorities are - during a wide range of compensation conversations.
