Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living
We invite you to share a special morning of music during our 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Worship Services. Requiem for the Living is a lush, five-movement exploration of life, love, loss, and spiritual renewal. Dan Forrest's soaring melodies and luminous harmonies take their inspiration from, among other things, enchanting photos from the Hubble Telescope. The work is performed by Gary's Festival Choir and Chamber Orchestra and members of Camerata Chicago Academy, and features guest artists Elena Snow, mezzo soprano; Peter Barsch, tenor; and Samuel McDonald, boy soprano.
