Free Screening of Patterns of Evidence: Exodus

Event Description The Biblical and Theological Studies Department at Wheaton College hosts a screening of the film "Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus" at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, October 1. 
 
"Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus,' is an in-depth investigation by documentary filmmaker Tim Mahoney. The film explores answers to questions about the validity of history found in the Bible and examines the evidence that speaks to the foundational story of the Old Testament: the Exodus out of Egypt.
 
Dr. Daniel Block, Gunther H. Knoedler Professor of Old Testament at Wheaton College, will moderate a panel discussion at the conclusion of the screening. Panelists include Dr. Daniel Master, Professor of Archaeology at Wheaton College and Dr. James Hoffmeier, Professor of Old Testament and Ancient Near Eastern History and Archaeology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Drs. Master and Hoffmeier will each give a review of the thesis of the film, stating areas of agreement and offering alternative perspectives on the question at issue.
