The interview can get you the job, but how do you get the interview? It all comes down to persuasive communication. Our focus will be on the importance of addressing the audience's needs in the job search "selling" process by crafting and delivering messages that make it clear that you bring strengths to the hiring company that will add real value. The presentation highlight three key aspects of the job search: the 15-20 second "value statement;" developing targeted/effective messages for cover letters and interviews; and having the confidence to take control of the interview by anticipating and preparing to effectively deal with "tough questions".
