Wheaton College's Political Science and International Relations Department is hosting the Kamm Memorial Lecture on Jurisprudence. This year's lecture, titled "Conscience and the Common Good," is given by Robert Vischer, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at St. Thomas University.
Dr. Vischer's expertise includes the intersection of law, religion, and public policy, with a focus on the religious and moral dimensions of professional identity. Author of Conscience and the Common Good: Reclaiming the Space Between Person and State, he is currently working on a new book titled Love & Justice: Martin Luther King's Lessons for Lawyers. He was voted Professor of the Year by St. Thomas University's graduating class in 2008 and 2011, and he received the school’s Dean's Award for Outstanding Teaching in 2007.
