Event Description Yale professor Bruce Gordon delivers this fall’s History of Christianity Lecture.

Before coming to Yale, Dr. Gordon taught modern history from 1994 to 2008 at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where he also served as deputy director of the St. Andrews Reformation Institute. His research interests include late-medieval and early-modern religious history, in particular the Swiss and German Reformations, historical writing and historiography. In 2009 he wrote Calvin, a biography of the life of John Calvin.
