Opera Music Theater Presents "Dido and Aeneas" by Henry Purcell

Event Description Wheaton College's Opera Music Theater will perform "Dido and Aeneas." "Dido and Aeneas" is a three-act opera written by English Baroque composer Henry Purcell. Purcell's first and foremost opera is about Dido the Queen of Carthage recounting her love for Trojan hero Aeneas. The Wheaton College production, directed by Kailey Bell and choreographed by Sarah Edgar, includes orchestra, costumes and authentic Baroque choreography.


Event Location Barrows Auditorium is located in the east wing of the Billy Graham Center at 500 College Avenue in Wheaton, IL 60187.
Date/Time Information Performances will be held in Barrows Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. January 14-17.

Fees/Admission
General audience tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door, or in advance by visiting the Ticket and Information Office, located at 418 North Chase Street in Wheaton.
