Philosophy Lecture: "Hope as a Christian Theological Virtue"

Event Description Dr. Nancy E. Snow will deliver a philosophy lecture titled "Hope as a Christian Theological Virtue." Dr. Snow is a professor of philosophy at Marquette University with research interests in moral psychology and virtue ethics. Snow's lecture will focus on exploring hope as a Christian theological virtue in the work of St. Thomas Aquinas; in relation to the virtues of faith and charity; and in eschatological perspective. She will also discuss whether Christians have a duty to hope. This lecture is the third in the 2014-2015 Philosophy Speaker Series at Wheaton College.
