Science Symposium: "BIG DATA: New Power for a New World"

Event Description The Math and Computer Science Department at Wheaton College presents the annual Science Symposium March 25-26. This year's symposium is titled "BIG DATA: New Power for a New World." Lectures will be given by Dr. Nitesh Chawla, director of the Notre Dame Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science (iCeNSA), and Mr. Thomas Sensabaugh, manager of an IBM team of technical specialists working with Big Data, Analytics and a variety of Data Integration technologies.


Event Location The symposium will be held in room 145 in the Meyer Science Center, located at 430 Howard Street in Wheaton.
Date/Time Information The symposium sessions will be held at 7 p.m. on both Wednesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 26, 2015.
