Event Description
Jessica Fine, a well known Chicago artist, will share tips on how to create an exciting city scene in soft pastel at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18 in a free program at the DuPage Art League. Her demonstration will explain the use of color, value, texture and design techniques to achieve a strong, vibrant work of art. She will also discuss different painting surfaces and the various types of pastels and how to make your own to save money.
Jessica is a prize-winning pastel artist whose paintings have been exhibited in many important museums and corporate collections. One of her paintings was chosen by the Pastel Journal’s Pastel 100 as one of the top 100 in the world in 2012.
