Symphony Orchestra Winter Concert: "Olympian Moments"

Event Description The Conservatory of Music features the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra in a winter concert titled "Olympian Moments." Dr. Daniel Sommerville, associate professor of orchestral music and conducting at Wheaton, will conduct performances by winners of the various Concerto Competition areas: keyboard; winds/percussion; strings and voice. Also on the program is an orchestra performance of "Sibelius's Symphony No.1," led by guest conductor Ricardo Averbach.


Event Location The concert takes place in Edman Memorial Chapel, located on the northeast corner of Washington and Franklin streets in Wheaton, IL 60187.

Fees/Admission
Tickets are available only at the door and cost $10 for general audience and $5 for seniors over 60, and admission is free for all students and Wheaton College ID holders.
