Join us at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton this Advent Season! Worship services are at 8:30 and 11:00 am with an education hour for all at 9:45 am.
"The Innkeeper: Longing for a Second Chance" will be the message on the Fourth Sunday of Advent, December 18, 2016, based on Luke 2:1-7.
Is there something in your past that you wish to God you could do over again and do it right this time? Don't we all have such regrets? This Sunday we'll explore the story behind the story, imagining Simon Peter coming back to interview the infamous innkeeper about that night of nights when God knocked on his door and he missed the chance of a lifetime. "No room in the inn" is a soliloquy that opens our eyes to the strange and wonderful ways God works to heal the pain of the past.
