Turkish Cooking Class
Date: March 11, 2017
Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Event Description
We will learn two very delicious turkish cuisines. One of these dishes is named Kumpir. The dish is basically baked potatoes that are stuffed with mozzarella cheese, beans, corn, pickles and decorated with ketchup, mayo and a variety of other side dishes and dressings to your taste. This dish is very famous to the streets of Istanbul.
The second dish we'll be learning is named Simit. Simit is a sweet bread decorated with sesame seeds, sometimes stuffed with cheese, pepperoni, or olives and sometimes plain.
We are looking forward to seeing you all there. As always, please reply to this email to RSVP so that our volunteers could prepare more efficiently for the program.
