Event Description
VBS for Children Entering K through Grade 4
Sign up NOW for Vacation Bible School at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton! All children entering kindergarten through grade 4, and their friends, are invited to spend a week in the G-Force Adventure Park where they will discover that they can use God’s power in their lives to help them MOVE! ACT! FOLLOW! and SHARE!
This fun, interactive Bible-based program equips children to use their talents, skills, and momentum in a Christ-centered direction. The cost is $30 per child if you register by June 1; late registration is $45 per child.
Bible stories, crafts, music, science, recreation, and mission are all part of each day's activities. Daily themes are:
Monday: God Calls Moses - Exodus 3:7-12 ~ MOVE!
Tuesday: Solomon Builds the Temple – 1 Chronicles 28:20-21 ~ ACT!
Wednesday: Four Friends Help – Mark 2:1-12 ~ CARE!
Thursday: Healing of Bartimaeus – Mark 10: 46-52 ~ FOLLOW!
Friday: Women find the Empty Tomb – Luke 24: 1-12 ~ SHARE!
Tuesday: Solomon Builds the Temple – 1 Chronicles 28:20-21 ~ ACT!
Wednesday: Four Friends Help – Mark 2:1-12 ~ CARE!
Thursday: Healing of Bartimaeus – Mark 10: 46-52 ~ FOLLOW!
Friday: Women find the Empty Tomb – Luke 24: 1-12 ~ SHARE!
Volunteers (high schoolers through adults) are needed to help with crafts, games, music, science, decorations, nursery, and photography every day. Please indicate your preferences and days you can help on the registration form. Also please list the names and ages of younger children who will need the nursery when you volunteer. There is, of course, no cost to volunteer.
Youth entering grades 5 through 8 are invited to sign up for Vacation Bible School - Service Squad.
