Visual Arts Workshop: Caricatures

Event Description The Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Wheaton College offers a visual arts workshop teaching caricatures. Saturday's workshop allows participants to learn to draw the human form, stretching and distorting a subject's facial features for humorous lampooning. Students learn the fundamentals of the powerful art of caricature. Guest artist Jim Martin, a local creative director who designs and manages the creation of happy meal toys for McDonalds, will lead the workshop. The afternoon class is designed for sixth graders to adults.


Event Location The class takes place in Suite 109 at the CSA Visual Art Studio, located at 1825 College Avenue in Wheaton, IL 60187.
