Suburban Chicago has a great new tradition in craft beer-tasting: The Wheaton Ale Fest!
Saturday August 4th, from noon until 4pm, guests can enjoy over 125 styles of beer from America’s best craft brewers in downtown Wheaton’s Memorial Park. Hosted by the Wheaton Park District and CASA DuPage, this event includes live music, great food and unlimited beer sampling in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Enjoy music by local fan favorite, Fresh Hops, as well as the strolling New Orleans style brass band, Four Star Brass Band. Learn about home brewing. Nosh on tasty eats from grilled favorites to dessert and sweets.
Guests get to vote for their favorite Illinois craft beer and the winner receives the coveted Illinois All-Star Ale Award.
Tickets are required for this limited attendance event. General admission is $40.00 and includes a souvenir glass. Designated Driver tickets are also available. Organized by Brewfest Partners, last year’s event sold out completely.
