Event Description
The Artist Series at Wheaton College presents pianist Gabriela Montero in a performance.
As a concert pianist, Gabriela uniquely combines classical music with improvisation, creating one-of-a-kind music for her audience. She has performed since the age of five in both Europe and America, and she can draw inspiration as easily from the Beatles as she can from Mozart.
Ticket holders are invited to attend a free pre-concert presentation from 7 to 7:30 p.m. in the east wing of Edman Memorial Chapel. Pianist Brad Williams will share an introduction to...The Mysterious World of Improvisation.
