Wheaton College Opera Music Theater: "The Tender Land" by Aaron Copland

Event Description Wheaton College's Opera Music Theater will perform Aaron Copland's "The Tender Land." "The Tender Land" is set in the American Midwest at harvest time during the 1930s. The story focuses on the Moss family and their daughter, who is about to become the first member of the farming family to graduate from high school. Performances will be held Wednesday through Saturday. The production is directed by Dr. Mark Lewis, associate professor of communicationat Wheaton College.


Event Location The performances take place in the Arena Theater, located in Jenks Hall at 433 Howard Street in Wheaton, IL 60187.
