You are cordially invited to participate in the 17th Annual World Tai Chi & Qigong Day! Saturday, April 25, 2015 a Spring Gathering ...focused on healing the planet as we heal ourselves? This international event is aimed at bringing about greater awareness of this beautiful and healthful practice. People participate in this event in over 90 nations around the world. On Saturday, April 25, 2015 this event will begin to unfold in New Zealand and continue around the world as one continuous wave of human movement focused on healing the planet as we heal ourselves. Mayor Mike Gresk has proclaimed this day World Tai Chi and Qigong Day in Wheaton, IL. 9:00am ? 12:00noon WHEATON, IL at the Theosophical Society in America Locally the Theosophical Society in America, at 1926 N. Main Street, Wheaton, Illinois will host the event from 9:00 to 11:00am on Saturday, April 25, 2015: From 9:00am to 9:55 am Tai Chi (Tai Ji) and Qigong teachers will lead participants in their respective styles. At 10:00am the WORLD event will begin with reading WTCD proclamation issued by Mayor Gresk. A labyrinth walk will follow at 11:00am for those interested. Church St. Winfield, IL (across the street from the park.) Practice Tai Chi and Qigong with some of the best local instructors. In addition, there will be demonstrations of some of the newest, proven and successful healing modalities, mini-massages, and refreshments.
