Jan 10    Not For Profit Network: How to Start Securing Larger Donations for Your Nonprofit in 2020
How to Start Securing Larger Donations for Your Nonprofit in 2020
 with Sherry Qualm Taylor

Another year is around the corner and January can be a little overwhelming for those of you who are leading the fundraising initiative. The thought of climbing that hill again and raising even more money next year can be overwhelming. Let’s take this one step at a time!

And before you say it . . .You’re not bad at large-gift fundraising (I promise!) You never had to do it in your previous career, or you’ve never been taught how to do it! Small, regular donations are awesome – but if you’re only focusing there, you’re leaving money on the table.  Join us on Friday, January 10th, 2020 where we’ll share the three most important things you need to have in place before you can start securing larger gifts.

What you’ll learn:
  • How to stop the fundraising-guessing-game and focus your time on the relationships that bring in the size donations you need.
  • The three things you need to have in place that will move you from dreading fundraising to confidently soliciting.
  • How your approach to annual budgeting might be keeping your donors from giving and you from taking a living-wage salary.

How would your life change if you knew how to secure larger gifts in 2020? Seriously! What would that mean for those you serve? Hope to see you there!

About the presenter: Sherry Quam Taylor
Sherry teaches nonprofit leaders how to shift from spending all their time, energy, and resources on low-dollar donor activities that leave investment-level opportunities overlooked. The leaders she works with nonprofit leaders who are experts in their field, but when it comes to individual donor fundraising, they’ve simply never been trained how to do it, so it feels uncomfortable and frustrating. She helps them learn the exact steps to launch a mid- and major level gift program that feels comfortable, involves less dread, and fully funds their mission for the long-haul. She does this through her private coaching and her 90-day LET’S GROW fundraising accelerator.

Jan 20    Seven Steps to Ignite Sales Growth

Why Have a Selling System?

There is a fundamental disconnect between traditional selling and how it is received by your prospects. The truth is that traditional selling tactics delay or doom sales opportunities. Why not re-engineer your selling process to capitalize on today's buying patterns? Now is the time to turn your sales performance around! Systems work in manufacturing, engineering, technology and many other professions and industries. Guess what...they work in sales, too.

You Will Learn How to:

  • Fill your pipeline with real opportunities

  • Implement a systematic, repeatable selling system

  • Shorten your sales cycle; stop chasing “let me think it over"

  • Reduce reliance on “lowest price” to close the sale
