Aug 6    “Homage to Frida" VIP Artists' Reception

The Frida Kahlo: Timeless Exhibition is here at last. The doors opened June 5 at the Cleve Carney Museum of Art at the McAninch Arts Center ("the MAC") on the campus of the College of DuPage, opening us to the world of Frida.

Our Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Arts & Sports Tourism Committee is hosting "Homage to Frida," a collection of artwork here at the Wheaton Chamber featuring local artists. With help from the curators from the Burning Bush Gallery at Gary UMC, we've installed an exhibition that honors Frida in each artist's own way.

The Chamber is open for "Homage to Frida" by appointment and

15 Fine Art Portraits revealed on Friday, July 9!

READ THE NEWS RELEASE HERE

We'd like to invite you and your team to come visit our Chamber office to celebrate Frida, see our exhibit and share more about the "Frida Kahlo: Timeless Exhibition" at the MAC.  Consider it an art field trip, an opportunity to bring your team together and a chance to meet with other Chamber members. Let us know and we'll get you on the books.

Due to our small space, we will ask our guests who are not fully vaccinated to wear masks.

Many thanks to Bill Austin & Tony Asta, curators from the Burning Bush Gallery, Mike Dyer from Edward Jones and the Arts & Sports Tourism Committee of the Chamber and the various artists contributing their work--for the love of Frida--to the Chamber for "Homage to Frida."

Please email president@wheatonchamber.com if you'd like to bring your group.
