TOWN SQUARE WHEATON CONTINUES LEASING TRACTION
Innovative Exercise & Wellness Concept HOTWORX to Open at Mixed-Use Lifestyle Center

WHEATON, Ill. (SEPTEMBER 8, 2020): Following its recent announcement that fast casual restaurant McAlister’s Deli will soon join its tenant line-up, Town Square Wheaton, the 203,000 square foot mixed-used lifestyle center located in Wheaton, announced today it is continuing remerchandising efforts with the upcoming addition of HOTWORX.
One of the most efficient 30-minute workout programs in the fitness industry today, HOTWORX, which boasts More Workout, Less Time as its overarching mission, is now under construction expecting to open its 2,457 square foot exercise studio at the property in mid-September.
Located at 71 Town Square, HOTWORX will bring Town Square Wheaton visitors virtually-instructed exercise programs that use infrared saunas.  Members complete isometric workouts or enjoy high-intensity interval training sessions such as yoga, Pilates, barre classes and cycling while infrared heat penetrates the body designed to flush toxins and burn calories.  Operating adjustments per the current Covid-19 situation include touchless exercise studio entry, social distancing and enhanced sanitization procedures among other guidelines for members.
“As long time Wheaton residents and patrons of the shopping center, we are beyond excited to bring this amazing concept to the property!  We were pleased to not only see the success of recent outdoor fitness events held at Center Circle Courtyard, but with ownership’s vision for Town Square Wheaton, which validated our belief in the demand for the wellness category by its core consumer,” said HOTWORX Owner Emily Garrity.

“We are realizing our overarching goal to build a second-to-none merchant collection that not only includes retail, food and beverage choices and convenient lifestyle brands, but one that also offers an array of new and exciting experiences visitors cannot find anywhere else,” said Hutensky Capital Partners Vice President for Asset Management Brad Miller.
“As the traditional retail landscape continues to change, particularly the apparel category which is contracting brick-and-mortar footprints across the country, we have viewed this shift as an opportunity to strategically engage in thoughtful and deliberate remerchandising efforts.  In other words, we are working with a careful lens to lease to the right uses, not just any uses, aligning with businesses that are successfully expanding and meeting today’s consumer demand,” he continued.
HOTWORX will join an expanding collection of retail, food and beverage and service tenants at Town Square Wheaton including newly-announced McAlister’s Deli, Warren’s Ale House, Noodles & Company, Egg’lectic Café, Evereve, francesca’s, Talbots, Chico’s, White House | Black Market, Bath & Body Works, LensCrafters and Nothing Bundt Cakes, among many more.  For more information please visit townsquarewheaton.com along with hotworx.net.

ABOUT HOTWORX

HOTWORX is a virtually instructed exercise program created for users to experience the many benefits of infrared heat absorption, while completing a 30-minute isometric workout or a 15-min High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) session.  As infrared heat penetrates the body causing an individual to sweat, the isometric postures further accelerate detoxification by physically removing the toxins from organs through muscle contraction.  The results users achieve make HOTWORX one of the most efficient 30-minute workout programs in the fitness and beauty industry today.  Operating adjustments per the current Covid-19 situation include touchless exercise studio entry, social distancing and enhanced sanitization procedures among other guidelines for members.  HOTWORX was created for users who want to flush toxins from their body and burn a massive amount of calories in the process.  Whether looking to polish off a regular workout routine or looking for new ways to live a healthier lifestyle, HOTWORX will be a major component of a user’s fitness program.  Users enjoy the 15 and 30-minute workouts as opposed to the traditional 60 or 90-minute hot yoga routine.
