Final Chance for Downtown Plan Input is May 29
WHEATON, Ill. – The City will be hosting a final opportunity for input on the Downtown Wheaton Streetscape and Strategic Plan at a public meeting at 7 p.m. May 29 at the DuPage County Historical Museum Auditorium, 102 E. Wesley St.

The Design Workshop team will be presenting the ideas to be included in the downtown strategic and streetscape plans and seeking final public input. In particular, the consultants will be focusing on how to promote redevelopment south of the tracks, how to prioritize the various ideas and improvements outlined in the plan, and the initial moves the City and local businesses can make to move the Downtown forward over the next few years.

The session will include a short series of survey questions, and the consultant team will incorporate the information received from the public at the meeting into the final product from the study, which will be presented to City Council this summer.
