New adult/adolescent psychiatrist at Summit Clinical Services

Summit Clinical Services is delighted to introduce you to the newest addition to our clinical staff, Anna Mackender. M.D.  Dr. Mackender is an adult/adolescent psychiatrist who joins Summit Clinical Services with enthusiastic recommendations from Rush University Medical Center and the Cook County Health and Hospital System. 
Dr. Mackender completed her medical school education at Southern Illinois University in Springfield and her residency training in psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.  She practices general adult psychiatry with specialization in psychopharmacology.  She enjoys treating adults and adolescents with mood and anxiety disorder and has a special interest in the area of women's mental health as well as treatment of psychiatric disorders during pregnancy and postpartum.  In addition, Dr. Mackender is fluent in Polish. 
We are looking forward to this strong addition to our clinical staff and to serving you and your family through Dr. Mackender’s presence here at Summit.
