Wheaton, Illinois --------- On April 18, 2012, Erik Todd was recognized by the Wheaton Park District’s Board of Commissioners for his outstanding efforts and success in Wheel Chair Basketball. The basketb
all team is sponsored by Western DuPage Special Recreation Association.Erick Todd has been a member of the Windy City Warriors Wheel Chair Basketball Team for eight seasons. He is also a seven time IHSA State Champion team member and has played in the national tournament four times. Todd has signed a letter of intent to play with the University of Missouri starting in the fall of 2012.
Western DuPage Special Recreation Association is an extension of nine park districts including the Wheaton Park District. Through this partnership, fun recreational programs for children and adults of all ages with disabilities are offered to Wheaton area residents. Please visit WDSRA’s website at www.wdsra.com.
