Tony LaPalio, the founder and CEO of Senior Tech Support based in Wheaton, has brought his entrepreneurial spirit to life through the establishment and co-founding of multiple businesses. With a mission dedicated to empowering older adults, Senior Tech Support strives to enrich their lives by providing invaluable assistance through the integration of technology.

Before embarking on the journey of creating Senior Tech Support, Tony accumulated two decades of experience collaborating with major technology manufacturers. His focus during this period involved designing and operationalizing large-scale national and international training and education programs, all centered around imparting technological knowledge to individuals. Tony's affinity for all things 'tech' traces back to his early years, and he has a passion for working with older adults.

Currently calling Wheaton home with his wife and two children, Tony continues to be a driving force in the tech industry, championing the cause of bridging the technological gap for older adults and Seniors.


Ignite is our innovative approach to providing resources and programs for business, career, and lifelong learning.
In partnership with the Wheaton Public Library, the goal is to help our community discover their spark and ignite their future - whether starting or building a business, changing or growing a career, or kindling interest through continuing education.

Apr 18    Diversity Editor and Assistant City/Business Editor Madhu Krishnamurthy Gives Update on DEI
April's Luncheon Speaker is Madhu Krishnamurthy, Assistant City Editor/Business Editor and Diversity Editor for the Daily Herald. She will share "An Update on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: What Businesses Want to (and Need to) Know." 

Ms. Krishnamurthy joined the Daily Herald in 2000, covering the north, northwest and western Chicago suburbs. She chairs the Editorial Diversity Committee, broadening employee understanding of the various cultures within the Daily Herald Media Group.

Madhu is past president of the Chicago Headline Club, the largest chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists; a current board member of the Northern Illinois News Association; and an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College Chicago. She has been awarded the prestigious Peter Lisagor Award several times from the Chicago Headline Club. Madhu speaks four languages: English, Hindu, Urdu and Tamil and grew up in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. A first-generation immigrant to the United States, Madhu's interest in journalism was sparked by watching CNN's coverage of the Persian Gulf War.
