Giving DuPage serves as the DuPage County Volunteer Center, with a mission is to promote giving and volunteering countywide. Our Volunteer Portal is a website promotes volunteering countywide, used by 375+ local nonprofit organizations and featuring over 750 volunteer and in-kind donation needs. In 2020, the Volunteer Portal connected more than 1,800 volunteers to local giving opportunities. To further celebrate volunteers, Giving DuPage organizes a countywide recognition event called Volapalooza, to celebrate over 150 local volunteers. Giving DuPage Days, a virtual community fundraiser for over 100 local charities, was launched in 2020 and has raised over $622,000 to date. Giving DuPage also provides capacity-building training for nonprofit partners and serves as a resource for the business community to help them achieve their philanthropic and community engagement goals.
